• Set up a scalable Investment Management for the BIL group of companies (Denmark and Switzerland included) by hiring 13 investment professionals.

• Secured a major corporate finance deal of evaluating a Russian portfolio of private equity participations along various risk parameters.
• Developed an investment strategy in various key sectors for one of the largest privately held companies in Russia.

• Set up and developed the investment management process for global alternative funds based on VAR.
• Managed directly long/short equity funds, focused on merger arbitrage, distressed and relative value strategies; engineered development capital for small caps in Emerging Europe; outperformed the target index on a nominal (+18 percent) and risk adjusted basis (2.7 times) since inception.
• Launched (concept, marketing, capital raising) and invested a USD 65m closed-end fund sponsored by DB, listed on the London Stock Exchange, focusing on private equity deals in South East Europe.
• Was Board member of FPP Global Holdings (controlling entity of a UK FCA regulated asset manager) and a UK listed investment trust.

• Visited and evaluated over 250 companies in more than 13 different Emerging European countries.
• Participated in direct investments and over-the-counter equity investments in Eastern European companies.
• Key member of a four-person investment team whose performance was consistently in the top quartile of its investment universe.
• Launched and successfully marketed two funds: a USD 56m Investment Trust listed on the London Stock Exchange and a USD 100m Unit Trust (Sicav) registered in Luxembourg.
